2022 Kids Can Sew II

9-14 year old kids are invited to spend the week learning sewing machine basics and sewing safety. We will do beginning sewing projects. It's amazing how much kids can do! In addition to machine basics and sewing safety, the kinds will learn basic construction techniques, including using various seam allowances, proper pinning, pivoting, curves and straight sewing, zippers, and more! They will have several completed projects by the end of the week. Projects will include a pin cushion, gnome, pillowcase, notebook cover, water bottle holder, tablet pillow, lunch bag, backpack, and microwave bowl cozy. Kids are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine but a shop machine can be reserved
