This is the second class of a 3 part series in our Beginner Sewing Academy. You will continue to gain confidence using your sewing machine. (Basic machine threading and the ability to sew a straight line should be mastered in Beginner Sewing Academy 101.) This jacket project provides an introduction to using a pattern. The jacket is simple and easy to fit and will build on skills you learned in the Beginner Sewing Academy 101: Pillowcases. Some of the new skills include hems, sleeves, and sewing on slight curves.
