Lots of activities are going on at Sandy’s this Spring—as you can see by the Kid’s Camp flyer, Summer is coming Fast!

I know all of you have heard by now that a new machine is on its way, and Husqvarna is keeping us all in the dark—the teaser name is the Designer XXX!  Whatever you may have read on the web, no real details are out yet, except that it will have the largest hoop in the home embroidery machine category.  Be sure to keep checking the Husqvarna Viking USA website for teaser ads and specials associated with the Designer XXX!  There will be lots of trade up specials and Special Packages!  You can also see the unveiling of the machine at the same time we do at Convention by registering to watch on the Internet.  The incentive to do this is that when you register, you become eligible to win a free Designer XXX machine!  We will be hosting a Pre-Launch Party before Convention, June 12 at 3pm.

This is a really good time to get on the waiting list for a wonderful previously owned Designer!

Sandy’s Designer SE Camp went great!   We had a full class and everyone had lots of fun making several useful accessories for their machines!  For those of our Designer SE owners who have been unable to attend daytime classes, we are repeating our Designer SE Camp  in the evenings.

The 4D Extra—Putting it All Together workshop also was a great success and we are repeating it in the evening.

Sandy’s Kids” Camps are coming in July!  There will be two camps this year with all new projects in both, so don’t miss out!  We have set the dates early enough to work into everyone’s plans, but sign up as early as you can, because the camps usually fill up quickly.

Everyone has also seemed to enjoy our Back to Basics Class Series.  Don’t forget, if you attend three, the fourth is free..

In other class news, some of the evening classes now start at 6pm instead of 5:30.  Hopefully this will allow more people to attend in the evenings.  Please let us know if you want to attend evening classes but cannot because of the scheduled times.

Convention is June 15-18 in San Antonio, Texas this year, so the store will be closed those days—we are not yet sure about Thursday, June 19, because of our flight schedules.

Since we will be getting lots of new notions, books, machines, etc., we need to clear out older merchandise, so keep watching the Closeout Table for great deals, added to weekly!

We are getting ready to weed our mailing list, so if you want to remain on the mailing list, you must let us know!  If we don’t hear from you, we will remove your name.  If you notify us, you will receive a free 5 pack of Universal needles and a small spool of all purpose thread. We are also getting ready to set up a new e-mail mailing list, so watch the website (www.sandyshusqvarna.com)  for details and a new address and form to fill out.

If you think you might like to teach a class, please talk to Sandy—we are always on the lookout for new classes!  We could especially use someone who is good at teaching kids and teens.
